The Forage Kickstarter Edition bundles the core game with the Secret Glade promo mini-expansion and stretch goals. Here is what the pledge includes and who should pre-order it.
Quick answer
The Forage Kickstarter Edition is the campaign pledge that pairs the core Forage board game with the Secret Glade promo mini-expansion and all unlocked stretch goals. Pre-order it if you want the promo content in one package; choose a retail copy later if you only need the base game.
Why the Secret Glade promo changes the pledge decision
The Secret Glade promo is a mini-expansion, not a standalone game. It is tied to the Kickstarter Edition, so the practical question is whether you want promo content folded into your first copy or prefer to wait for a retail release that may not include it. The listing does not detail the promo's specific cards or modules, so treat it as a bonus whose exact play impact you will discover after delivery rather than a reason to expect a different core experience.
What the pre-order timing means for your plans
This is a pre-order with an expected delivery date of September 30, 2026. That date is a projection, not a guarantee, and Kickstarter-sourced production can move. If you are buying for a specific game night or holiday, keep a buffer and do not make the pledge your only plan for that occasion.
Forage Kickstarter Edition: common questions
- What exactly comes in the Forage Kickstarter Edition?
- The core Forage board game, the Secret Glade promo mini-expansion, and all unlocked stretch goals. Paid add-ons from the campaign are not included unless the listing says otherwise. Check the add-on list before you assume a complete campaign bundle.
- Is the Secret Glade promo a full expansion?
- No. It is a promo mini-expansion tied to the Kickstarter Edition. The listing does not spell out its individual components, so plan on it as bonus content rather than a second full game.
- How many players can play Forage?
- The game supports 1 to 6 players, so it works for solo sessions and full tables alike.
- When will the pre-order arrive?
- The expected delivery date is September 30, 2026. Treat that as a projection and leave room for production or shipping changes. Avoid promising the game for a fixed event until you have a shipping confirmation.
- Should I choose this pre-order or wait for retail?
- Choose the Kickstarter Edition if the Secret Glade promo and unlocked stretch goals matter to you. Wait for retail only if you are comfortable with the base game and do not need promo content.
