Upgrade Zombicide with Second Edition Dice

Quick answer

The Zombicide: Second Edition All Out Dice set gives you six custom dice that replace the standard ones for clearer results and a more thematic feel.

How to set up and use the All Out Dice

1. Replace the standard dice: Take the six custom dice out of the package and swap them for the standard dice that came with your Zombicide: Second Edition core box. The custom dice use the same faces (hits, misses, and special results) so no rule changes are needed. Check that you have exactly six dice; missing or extra dice can cause confusion during combat.
2. Learn the symbols: Look at each die face and match it to the icon key in the core rulebook. The custom dice use the same symbols as the standard ones, but the symbols may be larger or positioned differently. Roll a few practice attacks to get comfortable reading them quickly. If a symbol looks unfamiliar, double-check the rulebook before your first game to avoid misreading results.
3. Store them with your core game: After playing, put the custom dice back in the All Out Dice packaging or in a dedicated dice bag. Keep them in the Zombicide core box so they're ready for your next session. Avoid storing them loose with other games to prevent loss. A dice bag or small container prevents the dice from rolling around and getting scratched or lost.
