Content Notes: Publisher Exclusive Ace of Aces: Powerhouse Series Deluxe Edition Board Game by Mr. B Games. Includes core game books plus slipcase, bookmark ribbons, damage tokens, ammo tokens, ace tokens, and all other applicable unlocked stretch goals.

The Powerhouse Series book set pits the Fokker DVII of Georg von Hantelmann against the SPAD XIII of Eddie Rickenbacker. The game provides statistics for several other WWI fighter planes that may be played using this set.

The Powerhouse books include a different variety of maneuvers than was used in the Handy Rotary books making for interesting match-ups between the two sets.

Customer Reviews (5.0 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Penelope ★★★★★

Two-player dogfights that actually feel tense, which is rare for a game this light. The 2024 edition plays fast once you get the simultaneous move dials down, and my wife beat me three times in a row on game night.

Riley ★★★★★

The Kickstarter deluxe edition components are noticeably heavier than the retail copy my friend owns, and the plane models alone make it worth it. Played three rounds with my wife and the dogfight rules clicked by the second turn.

Ellie ★★★★★

The two-player only setup is exactly what I wanted for head-to-head nights, and the deluxe Kickstarter components feel noticeably sturdier than a standard print run. Took one game to click, then the dogfight decisions got genuinely tense.
