Learn what the Final Girl Gruesome Deaths Books Series 2 retail edition includes, how it works, and whether it's worth adding to your solo horror game.

Quick answer

Final Girl: Gruesome Deaths Books Series 2 (Retail Edition) adds five booklets of new death scenarios for your Final Girl games, giving you more variety and replayability without needing a new core box.

Why this supplement matters

If you already own a Final Girl core box and at least one Feature Film, the Gruesome Deaths Books Series 2 is a low-cost way to expand your game. The five booklets contain new Gruesome Deaths cards that replace the ones in your core box, offering fresh outcomes and challenges.

Because it's a retail edition, it's widely available and doesn't require backing a Kickstarter. That makes it an easy pick-up if you're looking for more variety in your solo sessions.

Frequently asked questions

What's inside the Series 2 Gruesome Deaths Books?: The retail edition includes five booklets, each containing new Gruesome Deaths cards for use with locations in Final Girl. These cards replace the ones from your core box to add variety.
Do I need anything else to use them?: Yes, you need the Final Girl core box and a Feature Film (sold separately). The books are a supplement, not a standalone game. Check that you own a compatible core box and Feature Film before buying.
How do the Gruesome Deaths books change gameplay?: They introduce new death scenarios and outcomes, making each game feel less predictable. This adds replayability without altering the core rules. If you play the same Feature Film often, these books can keep it fresh.
